The adventure begins

I am currently sitting in PDX waiting for my plane. I have been awaiting this day for about a year now. It really hasn't felt real up until this point.

Yesterday one of my good friends prayed over me and reminded me of how great of a gift this trip is for me. Yes, there are a lot of things to be sad about leaving behind and a lot of things to be scared about, but there is also a multitude of things to be grateful for and to be excited for. You know that you have a great life when you are sad to leave parts of it behind!

I know this trip will be a season of growth and change, but I am ready for it.

It is well with my soul.
