Sorrento, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, & Rome

Over fall break during my semester in Spain, I flew over to Italy with a big group of friends from school. In ten days we were able to see the incredible, jaw-dropping artwork of the Sistine Chapel, the plastered bodies in Pompeii (on Halloween!), bottles and bottles of limoncello, sunsets out of this world, and we even did the walk of the gods.

We obviously had to do all of the basic tourist check-list sorts of things as well such as throwing a coin into the Trevi fountain, loading up on gelato and pasta, and visiting the Colosseum, but the trip was so much more than I expected it to be.

When you close your eyes and try to imagine all that Italy could be, everything you are seeing is accurate, but multiple by those feeling by ten and you might be close to what it actually is.
