My first experience in England did not disappoint. Charming red brick bungalows, incredible estates, plenty of tea, and the pure charm of this small city left us all yearning for more of what England has to offer. 

 

A very cool wall surrounds the city that you can walk around and get great views including one of the York Minster cathedral in all of its gothic glory. From far away or close up inside, this cathedral is absolutely amazing. Your eyes will be flooded with the detailing of the stain glass scenes that stretch out amongst the thick, sturdy walls of the church. During the evening the bells of the church sounded for at least fifteen minutes. The robust rounded tones of the bells were a nice way to the close the day.
