Seville, Spain

Four months living in another country can really change your perspective on things. I never dreamt of living in such a beautiful place as Seville. The city is bursting at the seams with life. In one corner of the city, you will find Spanish flamenco dancers wrapped in colorful costumes, in another corner you will stumble upon the cutest tapas bar with sangria and Cruz Campo beer, in other corners you will be enveloped in the sound of fountains and softened conversation, and in every nook and cranny you will discover something new and exciting.

Seville is packed full of history, art, and culture. The architecture reflects the Moorish influences (Seville was ruled by Moors for more than 800 years), as well as Christian gothic styles developed after the Reconquista. It seemed as if every building has some sort of story to tell.

If you ever decide to visit, I promise you that you will not be let down. The city has a little something for everyone, you just have to be willing to go out into the narrow, winding pathways to find it.
