OREGON

I was telling my friend the other day that when I was younger, I thought everywhere else in the world had crisp, clean air like Oregon. So, as you can imagine, upon arrival to Disney World in Florida as a kid, I was a bit surprised at the muggy air and lack of familiar evergreen trees.

Even though I have lived in Oregon for my whole life, I still find myself surprised by its many faces: quaint coastal towns, lush green hills, enchanting vineyards, snowy mountains, dry deserts, and lively downtown cities. Although I have a heart for international travel, I never feel trapped in my lovely home state. You can drive just a few hours away and feel like you are in a whole new world.

 

I may be a bit biased, but I think Oregon is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
